Laundry to Landscape Hands-on Workshop

Join us for an exciting hands-on workshop where you'll learn to install a complete code-compliant graywater system that transforms your washing machine wastewater into beneficial irrigation for your landscape! This practical, one-day experience will guide 15 community members through every step of creating a Laundry-to-Landscape system that can save thousands of gallons of water annually.

🔧 What You'll Learn & Do:

  • Assess and design a graywater system for your home's specific layout

  • Install a diverter valve that gives you control over water routing

  • Build distribution lines spanning 40-50 feet to irrigate multiple areas

  • Construct mulch basins with flow-control valves for fruit trees

  • Hands-on trenching, tubing, and system testing

  • Take home comprehensive guides to replicate the system at your own property

🌍 Environmental Impact

Each Laundry-to-Landscape system installed can divert approximately 3,500 gallons per year from the sewer system directly to beneficial landscape irrigation, reducing demand on our potable water supply while supporting healthy fruit trees and gardens.
